Hello - Tenacious Tens. I was banded yesterday. Oct 5.

I will add you Oct newbies tomorrow, Sunday. I HAVE to pay my bills online before my internet service gets shut down, LOL!

Everyone see today's update of the Roll Call. I just found another 4 names to add, which I will do tomorrow, I promise!

To all of you who have been banded - thanks to you for the info and tips...keep 'em coming! Less than 5 days for me and feeling nervous - excited - scared - anxious - (d) all of the above. Still having lots of anxiety about chewing my food well enough and those dreaded PB's (I had thought everyone was talking about peanut butter)

Thanks for compiling the list. Makes me feel like part of a club. Surgery was yesterday, trying to get liquids/protien down and walk as much as possible. Still on pain meds. I still think of PB as peanut butter. When I have one, I'm sure I'll remember the real name.

I'm sorry I haven't been around lately to give much support to all of the newly banded and soon to be banded, but DH and I are on the road working our way to Denver... We hope to be there on the 14th, just in time for my 16th surgery.

Kloverdad.... Thank you for going more into detail on yours and Mary's surgery... It is very helpful and gives all of us that are anxiously waiting for our surgery date a better idea of what to expect... One thing for sure that we do need to walk, walk, walk.... Hey nicnaknut ... I am being banded in Denver as well. I will be looking forward to hearing about your experience. I was supposed to have a phone consult with Dr. K yesterday, but he had to reschedule for Wednesday. :cry Oh well, I am still being banded on the 31st, so all is well. Good luck with your trip!

This is a great group. I am so envious of the newly banded and can't wait for my turn.

I started my liquid diet yesterday and all is well so far. I have eaten alot of popsicles!! I also decided that I like Swanson's chicken broth much, much better than Campbell's.

Hi all, it looks like I'm part of this huge group TENaciousTENS. Operation is scheduled for the end of this week coming.

It could be delayed but I'm hoping not. I have a very positive attitude and a delay will not get me down but could take me out of this group. I will know more on Tuesday.
