Pain management

Since the surgery on the 7th I have not been able to control the pain! I'm not sure I can handle this much longer. I take my oxycodone every 4 hours. When I take the meds I can get up and walk around. I can even sit at the table to eat. My pain on a good day is 7/10. I can't stand being over that. The on call tonight told me to take Tylenol. Or go to the er. It's our right as a patient to be made comfortable. Monday they are going to hear it from me. This pair is tearing me down.

  • You should not be in that much pain this long after your surgery....you should go to the ER. I'm wishing you the best and hope you feel better very soon.

  • I also had surgery on the 7th. I am virtually pain free now. If I do too much my one larger incision hurts some. You should not still be in pain. Please go to the ER and get checked out. Good. luck..

I had my sleeve on the 7th and only needed pain meds the first 3 days, I have zero pain now and am back to work...that doesn't seem normal. Go to hospital to make sure everything is ok.
