Hey everybody. I did it, i took the leap of faith and I had the gastric bypass surgery. I can’t believe I did it, I’m still dazed and airy because of the anesthesia. But so far the pain is manageable and hopefully it will stay this way and gets better. I have lots of burping and sometimes I pass gas to relief the air in my belly , I’m just thankful. I will visit the site more often since I’m at the other side now . I was so scared and nervous before the surgery and now I’m home , life is so crazy sometimes. Please pray for my speedy recovery since I’m still a bit scared of complications and I hope you guys are all doing well. Much love from me. Xoxo

This is my same fears I have. If they deny me , I prolly will sue them , not gonna lie. You pay for the insurance and they deny you service.. that's not how it works.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's gonna be the route to take. Switching hospitals doesn't resolve the issue with them claiming things about me. They're in control

Oh I never thought of that. I could ask him to write a letter from me stating I don't have an eating disorder. It's worth the asking , They already have my documents which was a shock to me because I never gave my consent. So that was weird to me. I thought they needed my consent before having those documents. Thanks for your suggestion and your reply, means a lot to me

Hello lovelies, Long time no see, it's been awhile when I was online on this app. And lots have happend. I had an appointment today with a new surgeon at a second hospital. Because the first hospital resfused to help me. They magically came up with a conclusion that I have an eating disorder. Which is apparent otherwise I wouldn't be obese. But not an eating disorder where I'm stuffing my face and purge. So they're execrating this claims and I disagree. But anyway this second hospital wants to look in their documents about me and I'm afraid they will say the same thing. They already send me to a nutritionist and I have to follow that for 1-3 months and then come back to hear a yes or a no from them. I don't know what to expect. I'm feeling so disgusting and low. I have the right to this surgery , I pay my insurance every month with no delay. And now I want my right , they make it this difficult? I know the risks of the surgery and that it is a life changing experience. But they make it so hard for me. I'm so pissed , really mad. Does anybody else have this experience? My English isn't very good I apologize I hope to hear from you soon. [emoji813]️

Yes basically the psychologist got the impression that I was a stress eater because I was being honest I think it's insurance issues than more so anything else I'm actually pissed because yeah whoever is overweight has emotional issues that's why we want surgery! Hi guys I unfortunately received bad news from the doctors after the screening to do surgery And they denied me because I have a problem with stress eating They will send me to a facility where I learn to handle stress without resorting to food and going to a nutritionist After that if I'm still fat than I'm allowed to go back :/ I am really disappointed After all the waiting and traveling I was so ready for the surgery and now it's denied Does anybody else been denied surgery? Hi guys I have this condition awhile now. I tend to have very bad gasrefluxes after I eat. If my food is bitter, salty to sweet. Oily fatty spicey herby You name it lol. I get really bad gas refluxes and it makes me neausous. So i dont know if the sleeve is right for me at this point because i read that it worsens this conditions. So here is the deal. I hear some much conflicting stories about the pain after surgery Some people get up and walk like nothing had happend. And others are crying and wailing from the pain As a emotional person myself i can handle pain but it scares me if im going to suffer like hell. Even though i will but it still confusing what to expect. So can somebody explain what it is exactly that is going to hurt and for how long? So i can prepare myself for the initial blow.? So sorry for this post again. But if i know what pain to expect and how awful is going to be i can by stuff to ease it. Hi everybody So there is alot happening in my life right now. I am seeing someone now. I know him for 3 years but the spark just came between us. So we are kinda sorta dating. And he has no clue what Im about to go through. I didn't tell him about my plans for surgery. And i don't know if this would put him off or not. Also i find it kinda distracting me from my goal to have this weightloss journey but at the same time it feels good that i have someone in my life who cares about me. I just dont know what to do with the whole issue at hand Anybody some advice in what to do or say? Or just plain insight what's the best thing to do with the situation at hand.
