I had my VSG surgery on Wednesday December 14 and by Saturday morning I was down 7 lbs. I'm feeling pretty good as I'm getting out and walking. I felt some hunger earlier today so I had a sugar free popsicle, and a few hours later I sipped a couple teaspoons of chicken broth. My only difficulty has been trying to get all my Protein in. I'm sipping Isopure protein all day but it's still tough to get in all 60 grams.

I really can't complain about anything because my pain has been very minimal, and I am eternally thankful for that.

@onereallybigbird. That's awesome news. Get some unflavoured Protein powder and add some to creamed soup and yogurt, even sugar free pudding. It helps get the protein in. If too thick at milk to thin down. People also add it to broth but I can't seem to get that to work it curdled :(

@@pammyjocakes my surgery is also on the 27th, but I only have to be on a 5 day liquid diet. Good luck to you on your pre-op diet.
