i get a lot of hiccup type things now, thats normal as its just trapped air on my esophagus, maybe it could be a similar thiing for you but then again i'm no expert, i'd ask the question to your nurse or surgeon

It most likely is your new, baby stomach healing. It takes 6 months for the stomach to heal.

I used to burp a lot, early post op.

Now, 8 months later I don't burp much anymore.

If this is a concern for you, please speak with your surgeon.

I have this problem if I eat or drink too much or too fast. Slow down and go just a tiny bit less.
