Pain under left rib cage

Hey everyone... I would like to start by saying I will call the MD tomorrow if this persists but I am wondering if anyone has experienced the same...

Surgery date was October 10. Today I have been experiencing and uncomfortable pain just under my left ribs. It's been on and off all day. Not piercing, just annoying. Anyone else experience this?

Are you eating any solid food yet? I had the same kind of pain at 3 weeks post op when I was allowed to add an egg to my liquid diet. The Dr said it was my signal that I was full. I am now 9 months post op and still get it every once in awhile.

If it was the right side, I'd say go to the ER (appendicitis) but since it's the left, it's probably gas. Everytime I eat a certain Soup, I'd get the same pain. Mine was a sharp pain and hurt when i took a deep breath. Glad you're calling your surgeon tomorrow though.
