I called my insurance company (Tricare) and was told that the nutrition and dietitian services are NOT covered. Anybody know what the cost is out-of-pocket?

Mine wasn't covered either. Ended up being about $150 for the initial consult, and $100 for over- the- phone follow up appointments.

Mine was 100.00.

I have Health alliance connect which is Medicaid due to a disability and the only thing that was covered was physical therapy and seeing the nurse practitioner. I had to pay $119 for first consult and $72 for all others. Six so far and I also had to pay for behavioral out of pocket. I'm on a payment plan.

Mine was covered by a one-time fee to the Bariatric practice for lifetime nutrition counseling, etc.

I am also tricare. It cost me $150
