Spanx or abdominal bands?

My surgery date is 10/31 and I'm trying to be as prepared as possible. My PA mentioned using one of these for comfort. Does anyone have any suggestions? I had laproscopy surgery before and it was not pleasant.

Thanks

I got two from the hospital. They aren't labeled.

I bought them on Amazon. They have different brands and sizes. I tried an abdominal band but I have a short torso and it was uncomfortable. I had an easy recovery but having a loose tummy wasn't working, spanx provided the perfect t support.

The info from my surgery team says I'll be supplied one after surgery (the band thing not Spanx) I'm assuming you're talking about for after the surgery not for later when you have loose skin

Munky

My abdominal binder has been a God send especially when trying to get my walking in the first weeks after surgery.

i am also scheduled for 10-31 and need to ask if I'm going to be supplied with one or should purchase one. I might just purchase one for home anyway either or.
