Wow. I'm sorry that you've had that experience. As a newbie myself I understand your questions and curiosity. I was happy to find a safe place to discuss with and question others who have been through the same experiences.

So to the experienced members of this group, please take a minute to remember how scared, confused, and full of questions you may have felt directly after surgery. And maybe offer advice with kindness instead of sarcasm. One day we will be the experienced ones, but right now what we need most of all is kindness and support.

I just went back through every single post you've made and honestly I haven't really seen anything too bad.. The last one or 2 post was possibly borderline.. And you seemed a little bit over sensitive.. Emotions maybe? I know I can be that way.. And it's not uncommon pre or post surgery because of little to know carbs.. It can make you get roller coaster emotions.. Just take a deep breath.. Try to ignore what you don't like and continue appreciate all the help you did and will get

Good advice. I also have had a little harsh response to one of my posts. Please don't let a few hurtful responses turn you off to this. There is an extremely amount of experience and tips here. I have gained so much info. I believe that the people who are the furthest out from surgery tend to forget how they felt when they were starting out. Don't engage with negative comments. That's the best way to handle it.
