Eating

You know what I have noticed a few days into the puréed stage.... I don't like eating. It has turned into a chore. I know that's kind of the point. Eating to live, not living to eat.

Or, maybe I'm just having a day.

That's kind of how I feel, too. I don't dislike eating, but the food I liked before surgery now leaves me like, "Meh. It's okay, but I can take it or leave it."

I just posted the same thing last night, I'm 4 weeks post op and I don't really care if I eat or not. I do eat, but it's annoying to me now. Others have said that will change eventually. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

For me, I'm only allowed a cup of food for each meal and I have to take 30 minutes to eat it. It's really difficult to take this long to eat such a small amount of food. I take a bite of the puréed food then I have to wait a number of mi utes before
