  6. Thanks to all of you for your insite....I do realize he will eat what he wants, and the stuff being in the house doesn't really bother me, it's the snide remarks because I'm not choosing to eat the crap he's eating that gets me. I've told him, we can eat together just different things, but he still acts snarky about it. Only 4 weeks in now, we'll see if it gets better. Jennifer

  8. Along with all the other anxiety ridden things that comes along with weight loss surgery, I'm now trying to ignore the wayward doings of my husband. Not only is he bringing in zebra cakes, nutty buddy bars and bags of chips, but he then says" I'm getting Chinese on the way home, you want something?" As I say no I'll eat something from home, he says " oh I see how you are". Really? I'm doing good not eating all that crap and I'm actually having a difficult time even wanting to eat. All he does is eat out and won't eat the things I'm making. I make tuna patties, refried Beans with cheese, scrambled eggs and cream of wheat, I've been looking up recipes for roasted veggies, ways to make pizza crust from cauliflower etc. A lot of it looks really good. I can't actually eat some of it for a little bit but I'm trying to find healthy menu items. He's not even interested really. I'm hoping it will change some as we get further down the road. Maybe he'll try a few things and eat them also. Who knows. Jennifer

  12. I just posted the same thing last night, I'm 4 weeks post op and I don't really care if I eat or not. I do eat, but it's annoying to me now. Others have said that will change eventually. I guess we'll find out soon enough. Jennifer

  20. After surgery, the first week was fine, probably just for not feeling so great, the second week I craved a cheese burger(not sure why), I'm starting week 4 and now I don't crave anything.....I really just don't care if I eat, now don't get me wrong. ..I am eating my 3 meals a day and most days drinking my Protein shake. But I can not eat enough to get in my protein. My nutritionist has said to stop when I feel full, so I do. But it's not allowing me all my protein and calories. Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem? Jennifer
  21. I cheated a couple times during my pre-op diet...one in the very beginning of my 10 days and the other just a couple days before surgery....it's hard, I understand. But I had my surgery on Sept 7th and all went well. Now I'm just trying to get my energy back in line. I wish you well on your journey!!! Sent from my SM-G930V using the BariatricPal App
  22. That's awesome that we had our surgery the same day.....I drink my Protein shake in the morning, I've been eating cottage cheese, tuna, yogurt, sometimes I'll eat as much of a high protein lean cuisine as I can. I was trying the protein Water, but it's awful. I don't know what else to do other than up my fluids, plus I get really cranky, but I think it's just because I'm really tired. I'm hoping my body just needs to adjust and that it happens soon. Sent from my SM-G930V using the BariatricPal App
  23. Just wondering what others may be doing about not having much energy. I had my sleeve surgery Sept 7th 2016 and I have increasingly lost more and more energy. I've been trying different foods to see if any help but none have thus far. I do need to drink more, I find that since I'm not feeling hungry, I don't drink much either. I've been trying to remember, any suggestions?? On the up side I've lost 28lbs. Sent from my SM-G930V using the BariatricPal App
