  4. I was told by the nurse and nutritionist that if you open the gallbladder pill and put it in cool whip- it sort of masks the taste. I luckily didn't have to take it. But many many people said it helped. A spoon full of cool whip make a little hole in it, pour the opened pill cover it up with cool whip and eat. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  7. You know what I have noticed a few days into the puréed stage.... I don't like eating. It has turned into a chore. I know that's kind of the point. Eating to live, not living to eat. Or, maybe I'm just having a day. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  8. Thank you!! That's a very helpful start. I appreciate ot! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  9. Hello All- I am finally at the puréed food stage (sleeved 09/07) and I am looking for suggestions of what everyone ate.... that doesn't necessarily included putting meat in a blender. It kind of freaks me out. LOL. Thank you for your suggestions! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  10. I was just ok'ed for the puréed stage this week. I am jealous of your food options. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  11. I have noticed that when I take the multi Vitamin in the morning- I feel very nauseous Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  12. I also was sleeved on 09/07 - I didn't have a lot of energy the first 10 or so days. But the last week, I have noticed it was been return. I was actually able to really clean my house today. I've been slacking because I really didn't feel like it. How much Protein are you getting every day? I agree that you may have to increase a little. Will your doctor let you take a B12? 13. I am on day 9 of the post surgery full liquid diet. (Did 8 days clear liquid diet before surgery) I am just looking for some tips, or recipes, or some encouragement on how to make it through to the next "stage". Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  14. Thank you! It's a struggle because my "brain" is ready to go. Ready to not eat creamed Soup and broth. I know that the rest of me is just not quite there. So I sip my Water and walk walk walk. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  15. Hello - I was sleeved on 09/07. I was just wondering what kind of results everyone saw in the 7-10 days. I am 5 9. My highest weight was 270 (on 07/24) and I weighed 242 on my day of surgery. (09/07) Today I weigh 236. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  16. I am 5 days post surgery and I am on a "full liquid" diet. So, all of the things in the clear liquid diet (broth, sugar free jello/Popsicles, Water, etc) but I am also allowed to add low sugar yogurt, strained fat free cream soups, applesauce... Hope this helps! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  17. I had surgery on 09/07. Also had a rough start. Today is much better. I am thankful for a little relief. I have really been struggling since I've been home. Congrats on your surgery. HW: 267 SW: 242 CW: 239 I am 5 9 Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  18. Thank you both! I know I need to be walking more. That is my goal for today. Move move move. Every day I seem to be able to consume a little bit more than the day before. So that is promising. Maybe because this is so new - I just feel like I am doing everything wrong or already failing. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  19. Hello, I am new to posting in this group. I am 4 days Post Op and slightly struggling. I am having a tough time getting all my protein/liquids in. I am just not "hungry" I have been pushing myself to consume more but instantly get that "full" feeling. At first I wasn't really in any pain, but the last two days - pain in my left side has increased. To which I am told that is normal. When does that go away? I think once that is tolerable or even gone I can concentrate more on "eating" Any suggestions for this sleeve newbie would be fantastic. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
