Are you still in the hospital? If not - call your surgeon for advice. Make sure they've given you pain meds, a PPI for acid and an anti-nausea med. Try and get fluids in - take very small sips. Hot

Gas pains are normal is what they told me. I found that walking helped me a lot,,,that and medication of course. It was actually a problem for a month and I just took medication faithfully. Wishing

I had my gallbladder out years ago, same type of surgery. They inflate your abdominal cavity with gas so they can see what they are doing in there. The gas really isn't in your stomach. I had terrible

When does it get better? I had surgery yesterday. Im having a rough time. I have terrible gas pains and I cant keep anything down. I tried walking but I feel so weak and I have taken gas x and medication prescribed by my doctor. Any other suggestions?
