Scary possible setback

So I've almost reached my goal before gastric bypass and had to have my EGD procedure. My surgeon found a pea sized nodule in my esophagus that he says is usually a benign leiomyoma. I have to go back and see a gastroenterologist to have them biopsy it. I'm scared and nervous as hell. Anybody else had a similar issue?

God Bless!

During my EGD, they found a polyp in my stomach and biopsied it. My surgeon reassured me that it had a benign appearance but I still worried some until the pathology report came back.

Thanks for that. Yeah he said it looked benign as well but I can't help but worry. I don't have any symptoms of anything else
