I just got my surgery date today. November 2nd!!

Like many on here I am soooo nervous and excited. Any advice on getting my habits under control prior to surgery? Any suggestions on Protein shakes to buy now? Any Vitamins you love that I should try? Any advice in general?

I just got my call from my insurance approving my surgery so just waiting for the dr office to call. I hope its not so far in November. Im so ready to go right now

Congrats! My date is Nov 22, I wanted something earlier but I'll take it. I finished my nutritional visits on Wed & now it's on the insurance for approval:)

Why are these dates so far out? I have last nutrition appt on November 1st and hoping to fast track for a mid November surgery.

My insurance denied my request because they had a problem with the psych evaluation. The surgeons office did not think that we would have any problem getting it through appeal. So bummed and scared that my surgery will be delayed.

Yay! @@butterballnomore.!!! My stats are: current weight -275; highest weight -292 and goal weight ~170ish. I'm 5'10. Mom of 2 and 40yo. I would love to go through this journey with someone.
