I'm 9 days post op, ive been wearing sport bras since I left the hospital but yesterday I wore a regular as I had my follow up appointment & class...omg, this restricted my breathing, my shoulders were hurting, I even got a fever...I am having chest pain since, hence I'm back to my sport bra...my shoulders no longer hurt Sent from my LGMS631 using the BariatricPal App

@@doxaholic stay positive for you. I love reading everyone else's post but, I got off here for a little bit to live through my own experience for myself (some post can be overwhelming). I had my surgery 11.22.16 I got home Wed by Thursday morning I walked 4.5miles & have continued today I improve my time by 25mins..this helped me so much with my breathing & pain, I 've been taking advil instead of the pain meds prescribed& I feel great! I've been following the instructions for diet to the T & have had no issues. Reading all the post I realize everyone have their own experiences, their experience are not mines & a lot have to do with mindset & attitude! Find your positive & you'll do great!!! Happy Thanksgiving! I was sleeved 11/22 @11:40a. I woke up in recovery just throwing up, I know they gave me meds & I don't remember much, the next time I woke up I was in a private room doing much better. I was able to walk, go to the bathroom alone. I was released 11/23 I'm still in pain but manageable, I'm getting my fluids in, no throwing up, so that's good. I am still in pain, think mostly gas, my throat is a bit sore, one of the incisions hurt but my doc said that was fine. Pain is relative to the person experiencing it. I spoke to 1 co-worker awhile ago abt it & she was supportive...then I decided to drop it & not tell anyone at work, I didnt want rumors. I've continue the process without bringing it up. I joined Orange Theory Fitness & have been doing that for the past month (my coworker joined as well), they see me eating healthier & working out...so when the day come for my surgery& I'm losing the weight...there's no question, I go to the gym 5days a week & I'm eating Healthy.
