Hi Guys,

I'm having my sleeve surgery on 4th October. Are there any other October people here? I'm feeling excited and nervous Eek!!

    Hi everyone , I'm getting the sleeve on October 18th . And I was told the sleeve doesn't help people with acid reflux , for some reason the doctor decided for sleeve . Does anyone know if the acid reflux could get better or worse with the sleeve ? Thank you

    @@vivi16 It depends on the cause of the acid reflux. Do you have a hiatal hernia that will be repaired at the same time? If so - that's probably what's causing the reflux. I have mild reflux (based on my GI Study) and having the Sleeve. My Dr felt there would be no issues. I'm also on the 18th!! good luck!

    @@SAL421 It's common to get cold feet. This is a huge decision. I think if you remember the reasons why you started on this journey you'll realize it is the right decision - but only you can decide. I'm scheduled in 20 days and know it's the only decision for me! I have to do it for my health.
