Explosive Bowel

Ya this is gross but I am in need of help. I am a week out from surgery and my stomach is soo upset. Today I wasn't able to make it to the bathroom in time and "exploded".

Do other people have this problem? I am sure its because of the Protein shakes and chicken broth and eating nothing else.

Any thoughts, tips or motivation would be appreciated.

I did and still do some mornings with the slider stuff like yogurt and cereal. I am 6 weeks out and the sensitivity has eased up - but I am sure once you start on more firmer foods, it will help. Eggs were quite 'rich' for me but are now totally OK. It just takes your tummy some getting used to. It's a hard process though and I had difficult days

I wish I had this problem. I did for the first two weeks. I even tossed out unsalvagable undergarments! Now, after week 2, I go 4-5 days without a BM! And then I need medical intervention. Relish the explosion. :)
