  1. Now that I am a few months post-surgery I was trying to think if there are any stocks I should buy based on my new body and knowledge. Any thoughts about medical or other stocks that would be good buys based on our experiences. I know this is a little off topic from the usual posts, but why not try and make some money and lose weight at the same time.

  3. I have to wear a suit to work everyday. I am 80# down and now all my suits are falling off me. I don't really want to buy new suits as I still have 30 to 40 more pounds to go. Any tips on getting away with a Blazer. I don't usually like sport coats so not sure how to pull it off. Looking for some fashion advice. Thanks
  4. I am now 2 months post surgery. I lost 30 pounds on the 2 week liquid pre-surgery diet, since then I have been eating well and exercising and only lost 26.6 pounds. I would like to speed things up a bit, has anyone gone back to the liquid diet to try and loose some extra weight?

  6. I am 14 days out and looking for some advice on when I can add back some more interesting exercise. I have been walking quite a bit but would like to know when I can add other exercises. I know weightlifting is a few weeks out. But how about the following activities? Rowing? Jogging? Abdominal work? Has anyone seen a gastric sleeve exercise plan? maybe even something that would help with loose skin?
  7. Why go through all this pain and work and then throw it away to lick some chemicals. I agree with others please get some treatment.
  8. I have been using the Beneprotein, i mix it with broth and apple sauce. Not great but not bad.
  9. Ya this is gross but I am in need of help. I am a week out from surgery and my stomach is soo upset. Today I wasn't able to make it to the bathroom in time and "exploded". Do other people have this problem? I am sure its because of the Protein shakes and chicken broth and eating nothing else. Any thoughts, tips or motivation would be appreciated.

  14. Getting ready for the surgery and looking for some thoughts on what to tell the kids. They are both under 5 and I don't want them to know too much, but I think they need to know why I don't feel good and why they can't jump on daddy's tummy. Any thoughts? How long did parents wait before lifting up their kids, especially babies?
