Now im not a doctor im only speaking from personal experience but i havent had weight gain issues because of it. Id talk to ur doctor and weigh that as an option.

  7. I want to warn everyone that bariatric surgery has the potential for substance abuse. I didnt think so but my doctors explained that it happens often after ive developed a substance abuse problem. You need to be careful because now i have a new challenge to face because of the surgery and the doctors dont necessarily tell you about it prior to surgery. Avoid drinking and if you cant then try to keep it at a minimal because before you realize you end up with a problem. Look it up Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  15. Hi all, thanks for your concern. I think additional testing needs to be done Im scared because even thick soup doesnt work for me let alone yogurt or hummus or anything. Like right now I just had a quarter of a cup of soup and feel uneasy. I can try powder protein because I hear its so important to have. But yes, another appointment is needed I think.
  16. I have to take them all at once with a shot of water so It goes down and is over with quickly. I notice that the more water I take with it the more painful it goes down. So like a small amount of water with the pills works best for me.
