I just got my approval letter, and I am officially getting sleeved on September 14th! Anyone else getting sleeved on or around that day?!

Im on day 5 post op! Im sooo hungry but they tell me its mental my surgeon didn't put me on any Protein shake until next monday!

Im sorry you are going through this. If you can, I'd take a trip to their office. sometimes face to face interactions gives a situation a bit of urgency! ;(

Wow, that is the most strict plan I've ever heard... Mine was clear for 3 days (or if there is zero nausea with clear I can go to Protein shakes and broth). I agree with @@rnstudent343, I'd contact them again and ask them again...

Ive already done so! Im just trying to not think about it! Next week is the same clear liquida diluted but with 2 oz of Protein shake twice a day! It is really tough! I just want to cry right now!

I had the same thing, 5 days water and Crystal Light. Today was Day 4 and I added 2 premiere shakes and I felt much better. I broke them up throughout the day

Tomorrow is my surgery so excited as well as nervous! I will update you all upon my arrival at home. Best of luck to my same date sleevers and best of luck to you all! Can't wait to end this pre op hunger!

I know this is a terrible way to start your new journey, and I would be upset as well. However, look at it this way, you would rather have your insurance authorization done right instead of have the surgery to only be told afterwards it was wrong and you owe thousands of dollars and have to go through an appeals process. Your day will come, just try to remain positive, hang in there. Your time is coming.
