1. Stay off the scale for a while 2. You are doing just fine in your weight loss. Lower your expectations (or try to get rid of them completely). 3. It isn't a race to solid foods. I wasn't even all

People 3 weeks out usually have a 3 week stall. Google it.

At 3 weeks out I was not allowed meatloaf, pureed or not. My purees were mashed potato, cream of wheat, things like that. Maybe slow down on the beef and go for some things that will be easier on

BUT here I am. I have replied to others post who are down and out, with hopefully encouraging words....but now im the one whose down and out. I have been having off and on bouts of depression. I get sad because the stupid scale hasn't moved in 2 weeks. Ive only lost a few lbs since the actual surgery (about 19lbs including pre-diet) and it has me wondering if it will work for me. I am 3 weeks out. I am drinking Protein and Water. I make an effort everyday to eat something pureed but it hurts going down so it makes me feel like my tummy isn't ready...will it ever be? or will it hurt to eat for the rest of my life? Today for lunch I tried eating mashed low carb meatloaf I made last night and a tablespoon of mashed sweet potatoe. People comment (already) that ive lost so much weight and I just think "Really??? really? Ive only lost 8 lbs" I look in the mirror and while I see somewhat of a difference its not much and while I don't expect to be 50lbs lighter after 3 weeks I did expect to loose more than 8lbs!!!!
Im sleepy all the time...just straight SLEEEPY. I come to work and yawn 50 times within the first hour. I go home and care for my 9 and 2 yr old boys. They see Mommy tired all the time. We go to the park and take walks...doesn't help much. The struggle is REAL!
That is all.
