Did anyone have these after getting sleeved? My procedure is out of state and my primary care absolutely won't remove stitches from another doctor's work. (She said it's a malpractice case waiting to happen.)

Wondering if dissolvable stitches are an option because I don't know how I will get them out with out flying back to Florida, which is ludicrous. Thanks in advance.

Mine were internal and dissolvable (I assume). I was held together with glue. No bandages. Nothing.

I was under the impression that the staples stay in your stomach and the outer skin is held together with glue.

You might not even have stitches at all. I only had some internal stitches on my main incision and everything just had glue

I don't think any doctors use stitches that have to be removed. My incisions were held together by glue.

I had glue that dissolved in a week or two on their own..

My surgeon in Florida (dr. Dietrick) used glue. They just dissolved

If you have external stitches they are super easy to take out yourself. You just need a tiny pair of scissors and you clip the stitch and pull it out. Very easy. Check on YouTube and you'll see it done.
