have you tried drinking them at different temperatures?

what other options are allowed on your plan at this time?

Have you tried the unflavored Protein in Water and crystal light? I am practically living off that right now. You can mix it in any drink or broth. It is not 100% flavorless but it has been better than the shakes for me. I get 2 with that and 1 regular shake. I am post op 1 week 1 day.

I agree about different temps. I liked some hot that weren't so good cold. Also there's a good chicken soup one you can order. Finally, I mix mine with non-fat Greek yogurt (Fage) and add a squirt of that coffee flavoring - either coffee flavor itself or things like SF caramel, etc. Good luck - keep at it until you find something works.

I use one called "Delicious" I put it in a blender with some frozen mixed berries, Greek yogurt, half a banana a dash of orange juice, and chilled Water.

I only had surgery yesterday so the quantity will be vastly different. But it makes it tasty and very doable. I used it in the past before work outs and for my 2 weeks pre op liquid diet.

Often creamed soups (especially low fat) have a high amount of sugar and could cause stomach upset/dumping. You could also be having an issue with lactose.

At 2 weeks... im not sure if you are on the full liquid stage... we started soft foods at 2 weeks.

But what i did was make stew with either minced lamb, beef or turkey.

I made sure i added pulses and Beans for Protein and when cooked i would put a dollop of greek yoghurt in it.

If you can not stomach the Protein shakes, try changing brands.. types.. you can get pea protein (it tastes yuck)..

I personally am not big on protein shakes.. i don't like the artificial sweetner in them.. so i limited them to once a day... .. but i reach my protein goals through food.
