Pain meds

How long after your surgery were you on pain meds? I had mine 5/19 and have been taking them every 4 to 5 hours.

I was on mine for like 2 weeks, though by the end of the two weeks I was really only taking them before bed to help me sleep more comfortably. Hope your recovery is going well. :)

I stopped taking mine on day 3 or 4, as well as my nausea medicine, mostly because I couldn't get the medicine down. I would gag and throw up every time, so I decided it just wasn't worth it. I suppose if I needed it badly enough, I would have forced myself to continue.

I was on mine for maybe the second day home (3 or 4th overall) but I realized I was taking it because they GAVE it to me and I was anticipating pain but there really wasn't anything tylenol couldn't handle. No, all in all I have to admit it was a really smooth pain free procedure; it was uncomfortable for sure, but real pain? very little thank god

I stopped the 2nd day in the hospital. I felt really lucky in that regard. I had my surgery on 5/16, and haven't had to crack the liquid pain meds!

I stopped mine in the hospital second day. Didn't even pick up the ones at the pharmacy

I only take mine when I take a walk

The strong pulling pains are still strong while moving, but no pain after I sit back down.

Hope this ends in next few days.
