10 weeks out

I had surgery 10 weeks ago on Monday. I have days where I fill up fast and hardly meet my 800 calories then I have other days where I can't seem to get full and end up eating 1000 or 1100 calories. I meet my Protein and Water goals but I just feel like I'm failing when I have one of these bottomless pit kind of days. Does this happen to everyone? I am down 50 lbs in the 10 weeks but the first 30 came off the first 3 weeks after surgery and the next 20 took the other 7 weeks. I feel like I am failing. I need some words of encouragement or someone who has been through it to tell me I will succeed at this.

Think about losing 50lbs in 10 weeks - there's nothing about that that says failure! Damn good job! Get your protein and water in - it'll come off.

I am 11 weeks out and I also have gone up to 1100 calories a day. I have felt the same but realize that as long as I am not eating junk and what I am eating is protein or fiber then I am good. I make sure I am drinking 48-64 ounces of water and the next day i try mu best to stay within 800 to 900 calories. The scale is still moving. Slower than in the brginning but it is moving doen... 40 pounds down.

You are doing just fine! I had the same up and down days but I realized as long as those extra calories are good calories and not junk food (I've eaten Cookies, chip and other junk) I will loose weight so I adjusted myself to only good Snacks (almonds, veggies) and I started to loose more again. (9 weeks post-op weight loss so far 40 lbs, 50% of my goal)
