    Breakfast help

I am 16 months post op but I can eat anything. Normally when I don't have a lot of time in the morning I eat a nature valley bar and a banana (with about 30 minutes in between) if I have time I do boiled egg with slice of toast with peanut butter. Of I'm being lazy I get a egg mcmuffin and eat half. Save the other half for the next day. On the weekends I make kodiac pancakes (high on protein) what I have learned about my stomach is that I can eat a full healthy meal in intervals. Remember you are eating way less regardless and will be fine. But I need your protein and nutritions. I lost too much weight and finally am back to where I want to be. It's easy to forget that we have to eat healthy as much as possible. I love junk food and candy and I do not deprive myself from anything, however o eat so much healthier now than I ever did because if I don't my body feels weak and I look and feel sickly. Good Luck
  2. I had my sleeve 03/06/2016. For the past few weeks ( since Thanksgiving) I have been eating more than 4-6 ounces. Sometimes I only eat a little bit and other times I can eat a lot. Is it possible I already stretched my stomach? I also have not lost any weight since August. (I am up 1-3 lbs every day) but no real since my 6 month mark. I loss 70 lbs in 6 months so far. Well anyway, my question is is this normal and is it possible to stretch you stomach in such a small time frame? One thing I have to admit I never stopped eating and drinking at the same time. I just can't eat without washing my food down.

    Stall & disappointment

Check with your local hospitals they normally have some support groups. Or ask your doctor or NUt
  4. What was your starting weight? 75 lbs in 2.5 months is awesome. But you probably have some gallstones or kidney stones.

    10 weeks out

You are doing just fine! I had the same up and down days but I realized as long as those extra calories are good calories and not junk food (I've eaten Cookies, chip and other junk) I will loose weight so I adjusted myself to only good Snacks (almonds, veggies) and I started to loose more again. (9 weeks post-op weight loss so far 40 lbs, 50% of my goal) Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  6. I learned I needed to sit up strait to drink in the beginning! If not it was painful. After a week or so it just felt better and now it's no bother at all (9 weeks out now) Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  8. They just trying to make you buy theirs!!!! It is not required like with a bypass. All you need is multi-vitamin, B12, C,D and Calcium for the first few months until you are eating most of the foods that will give you what you need. Then only a multivitamin is needed. As a woman you can always use extra D and calcium.

    Regret

Take it one week at a time! And as far as having relations I think sits a bit too early! Your body needs to rest. Once you go to soft foods you will feel like a whole new person! Good luck...

    Dear Sleeve

Ooh Marie, I am so sorry you feel so bad. I am 11 days post-op and by day 4 I felt 100% better and different. It will get better and you will love your sleeve! At first I was pushing myself with Protein drinks and Water until someone on here suggested Isoplure. In drinking that it kinda covers both. ( still have to try your water intake) I don't understand not getting pain meds after a major surgery and if I could I would bring you mine lol.. Good luck and I will keep you in my prayers.... Other that, my pouch is doing just fine and I'm feeling pretty good. Haves wonderful rest of the day! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Had surgery a few days ago

Ibuprofen is def not good post op for any surgery! They should wrote you a script for a liquid pain med. and liquid Tylenol works good too.. Anyway, I'm 10 day post op today and am feeling pretty good! Just wait what one week will do wonders of resting and taking it easy and try to sip as much as you can! I can now do about 1 oz at a time for Soup and Protein... It will get better!! Good luck Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  13. I don't think what your eating has anything to do with your stall.. It's way better than what you were eating before ( that how we all got to where we were needed this surgeryto begin with ,right?) I am only on day10 and can't wait to eat but after researching about this for a while it's best not to hurry to leave the full liquid stage for your stomach staples haven't completely healed yet and pieces of food could get stuck and cause you issues/infections! 14. My surgery was 3/8 and for some reason today I'm feeling old pains again. I was good for the past 2 days. I did do a bit more walking and small things around the house so I had some soreness but today it's painful where I am taking the prescribed meds to handle it. On a scale from 1-10 I'm at about a 5. Also I have NO appetite at all.. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  15. Thanks! Yea I hope so... Day is a bad day hopefully tomorrow will be better. Also eventhough I am not hungry I am ready for some soft purée. Soups are killing me lol Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
