Any other June sleevers?

I got the call today, my surgery is set for June 8. I go tomorrow to do a follow up with the nurse and other appointments are already set. My sister-in-law has her initial appointment tomorrow so it's nice to have her to go through this with...plus she's wears a smaller size than me and already told me I get her clothes when she loses weight! That's about 2 sizes away. Luckily I do have some summer clothes already so this is PERFECT timing!

anyone else having it done in June? :D

Had the sleeve done this morning! Feeling a little nauseous but incisions do not hurt...just gas is bothering me from time to time but in general I'm feeling extremely happy to have done this. Sen

I'm so upset right now... My surgeon cancelled my surgery because he is going to be out of the country and don't know if he will be back by the 29th. So I had to stop my 10 day liquid diet and wait for my new date. really really sucks

That really sucks and is unfair! Hopefully you'll get another date soon!

June 14th! I'm 8 days post surgery. I'm moving better each day but am experiencing diarrhea so not quite ready to get out in public. Can't wait for my first follow up visit tomorrow. Ugly subject and not something I want to talk about!!!

Congrats on surgery and welcome to the other side! Good luck with the big D and the doctor.

I was sleeved also on June 14th and I am doing alot better now. I seen my NP for a one week post op and was down 10lbs that was on Monday. Now I have lost more and am almost 270. Monday I was 276. I have no regrets about being sleeved. I just started walking today and am doing good. You take care hun!!
