I'm a week post op and trust me you will feel that way but what I do is just try and remain positive and I get as much rest as I need because we just had major surgery . sometimes I have like a surge

sleep, rest, drink. Week three was my magic turn around. It was a totally different world at day 22.

The first week post-op I felt like I had been hit by a truck. This was due largely to the major surgery, but also going cold-turkey off of a major caffeine dependence and carbs! (I did not do a pre-op

I'm 6 days post op and I feel drained and sick to my stomach--and by drained I mean that tired, weak feeling you get when you're hungry and haven't eaten for a while. This just started yesterday; I'm meeting my Fluid and Protein intake requirements. What can I do to stop feeling so sluggish? The liquid phase will be the death of me!!! Part of me wants to skip this phase and move on to the mushy foods phase...ughhh!!!
