At this point you should be on Clear liquids. Protein shakes fall in the "full liquid" phase that comes next. The rough break down is as follows:

1st week - clear liquids

2nd week - full liquids

3rd week - puree stage

4th week - soft food stage

5th week - normal food

Your doctor may have given you different advice but this is the general standard.

As far as Vitamins, use chewables.

So ive been home 4days now since my surgery & i have not been able to take my Protein shakes or Vitamins is this really bad ? Idk why i jst cant keep it down

Have you talked to your surgeon?

I didn't have to start taking vitamins right away. I know some bariatric vitamins can make you nauseous.

Definitely give your NUT and/or surgeon's office a call for guidance. Getting in enough protein and fluids is critical.
