Leg compression cuffs at night

Has anyone's surgeon sent them home with a set of the leg compression cuffs to wear night? Mine did, but I don't know how long I have to use them. My BMI was low enough I didn't need to be put on blood thinners.

I wasn't on blood thinners ever and only had the compression cuffs at the hospital and once I got up and was moving around steadily, those we not used after that.

My surgeon sends all his patients home with them. He told us to wear them for the first month every night. It is just an extra precaution they do so his patients don't experience blood clots due to dvt.

I had them but don't remember how long I wore them. Why not give your surgeon's office a call and ask?
