  • Does anyone want to start a Facebook December Sleever group? I don't know how to do it but I can try... anyone in?

  • Is it weird that I love you guys already?? Maybe that I'm (HANGRY!!) emotional because my surgery is tomorrow. Seems so sudden after such a long wait!! Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

  • I'm done! Not even painful at all, just feels like heartburn. Nil by mouth until tomorrow, which is fine by me! Many have talked about the dry mouth, it's definitely an issue. I got a dry mouth pocket

I have created a secret Facebook group called December 2015 Sleevers. I will post the link below (hopefully that will work). If not, I believe the group is searchable as typed above, or I can invite people by e-mail address also :)

I got a dry mouth pocket spray from CVS and I'm so glad of it. Just make sure you get the proper dry mouth spray rather than the regular breath spray.

I have changed the group to private for now so that it is searchable (December 2015 Sleevers). All posts will still be private. I also added those who gave me their e-mail addresses. Hopefully this helps!

They will give you mouth swabs if you ask, it's not awful, just dry! They also let me swish Water around my mouth when I went to the bathroom, just make sure you don't swallow! They said it's mostly due to my painkiller, the on-demand one, can't remember the name. It made me nauseous and sleepy too, so I'm not going to have any more unless I have pain beyond the heartburn.

Yes, they'll give you a moistening swab if you ask. Good luck!

I didn't get the group to show up. Please add me!kildahls@msn.com

Thank you!!

I visited a girl from here who got sleeved on Monday. She is doing so great that I am extremely relieved!

Your hospital should have everything! Bariatric surgery is becoming a big industry so the nurses are being trained to better understand WLS patients and their after surgery needs. I have been so impressed! !

I visited a sleever yesterday and she had SoBe Water, regular water, Jello and the nurses supply sugar free throat lozenges for any sore throats or dry mouth.
