@@Missy407 I was the 10th and my dr used sutures inside on deep muscle and that one spot has been killing me as it is healing all the other incisions are fine and good to go no pain.I just need this one spot to hurry and feel better

I had surgery on the 10th I am going back to work on the 28th. My boss and two of my co-workers know that I am close without of work as well. I have decided not to tell anyone pre-op because I didn't want to hear the don't do it, try another way first or anything else. AT this point post op when I go back if anyone asks even in my general life because I have told very few friends/family but if anyone asks I will tell them but I will not go around volunteering the information. It is funny before the surgery I did not know how I felt about telling people. Now that it is done I am like I could care less I did this to better me. I will probably be like @@Bufflehead with those witty responses they are great !!! lol

Hey, I was also the 10th too its hard for me to get down all the fluids as well I just do not be hungry my Dr has said not to worry about the protein as much this week if I can't but fluids are important yesterday I did about 56 oz today I'm not close..gas pain is annoying but like you said each day has been better than the last today has been pretty good to me looking forward to tomorrow day 6 to see how I feel. One week follow up appt fri at that point I should be able to move onto the next food phase of like yogurts and hot cereals

Awe sorry feel better..I feel pretty good today finally took a nice long shower feel pretty good today 5days post op

Are you feeling any better? Have you been taking in enough fluids that was my problem

Hey everyone thanks my in home nurse had came out later in the day also my surgeon office called to check on me and I was not in taking enough fluid at all he wants me to intake about 60 oz a day and day before I only took in 16 oz yesterday I took it about 56 oz I feel much better. Pretty much my muscles were getting tight lack of fluids

Does anyone have any leg tenderness in the calf I went for a Lil walk to help during my walk my one calf seemed like it wanted to cramp up a bit. I have been walking around my apt taking my blood thinner injection just has me a Lil nervous

You are day four I am day three I guess and I want a shower so bad I was about to attempt to take one just don't know if I can bend really yet uuggh I feel dirty lol

Up in the middle of the night with gas pains had surgery on the 10th I finally passed gas (sorry If tmi) only kept belching prior. I'm getting through it seen everyone complain about gas pain was lucky until now

Great to see everyone is doing well I got my surgery done on the 10th feeling pretty ok this morning take my meds every 4 hrs to be sure lol..hope the tightness and pain ends soon though

@@Trillian Happy everything went well for you. Hopefully I have the same outcome tomorrow I am just now seeing all this dry mouth stuff and I have nothing o gosh that makes me nervous

Good for you, an early spot on the surgical schedule. I have not received my call yet with my time. At this moment I'm still pretty calm, not nervous. Have everything ready here at the house, laundry done & all cleaned up around here. My husband will take me tomorrow & stay the day. My son works overnights & will stop in to check on me Friday morning. Here we go friends. You are ahead of me I'm so late with things I am in the middle was doing laundry now I did clean up yesterday and I have yet to pack my hospital bag. I am too not nervous I will say yet though I think in the morning when I get there it will hit me

Just got my phone call to report to the hospital tomorrow at 6am..wow this is really happening
