Has anyone tried nectar Protein? I've heard really good things and after choking down Premier Protein over the weekend.....I need to find something different. Any advice will help!! I start my Pre-op diet on 12/4 for my 12/18 surgery!!

I've tried it and I like it. It is a refreshing change from those pesky Protein shakes! For me it is kind of like drinking a Vitamin Water. I like the peach and fruit punch flavors.

Bariatric Advantage offers a nice variety of flavors...and Unjury is available unflavored...so it can be added to literally, anything you decide to eat or drink =)

I tried their sample pack and the only one I liked was the cappuccino! My coworker ordered the Now unflavored 100% pure isolate from Amazon and just tried it in her Crystal Lite and it had no flavor at all, so I think that's what I'm going to try next!

I ordered this sample pack: http://www.si03.com/EMAIL/nectar_gng_sampler/nectarsampler.html

I liked quite a few of their flavors. This is the best deal if you want to try a bunch without investing in a lot of any one kind first. I also had the Bariatric Advantage Orange Cream and banana. They were both good. I actually have some Isopure fruit Punch you can have, if you would like to try. I liked it but the massive jug they sell at Vitamin Shoppe was too big. Did you ever get your date scheduled? Hope you got that day you hoped for. I read good.

Thanks @dlappjr!! I got the chocolate Truffle and I'm going to try some with some milk tonight. I'm so excited that my date is finally set!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
