I know we do! I saw your post. My goal seems impossible but I still want to try for 125lbs. I am 5'1" so a shorty. I haven't been that small since teen years. My mom is like that and we have similar body structure. I need 30 lbs. Everyone says the first 6 months is when weight loss is best and we still have 3 more months for 6 months post op. I am hopeful. I started going to gym 2 X a week. Last week too hard with travel and holiday. Will get back to it this week. Good luck to everyone on reaching our goal. Great thing is usually at end of year we are all thinking about dieting this year we are already on the journey and succeeding!!

@@Rdsegobia my surgery date was May 6th so i am now post honeymoon and now weight loss is slower.

I'm so glad to see a few others joining us. It's nice to have people who share similar traits. Keep up the good work everyone.

My 3 months is tomorrow. I won't be getting on the scale because my mother is having major back surgery tomorrow and we have to be at the hospital at 530 in the morning. I'll be lucky to get a shower lol.

I'll check my weight on weds.

@@lorri716 wishing a fast recovery for your mom, I will keep her in my prayers.

Look for the NSV's and rejoice in them. Like, do your clothes fit better? Can you buckle the seatbelt fit better? Can you walk to the mailbox without getting out of breath? Do your knees hurt less? Is your sleep apnea gone? Those were my non surgery victories. Yours may be different.

Lorri716

Hope all is well with your mom. Take care.

Thank you. She's still in surgery. Hoping that in another hour or two she'll be done and in recovery.

I went to the vitamin shoppe store today and bought the silica pills supposedly those are good for hair loss. I will start taking those together with the biotin and will update you guys in the progress. Hopefully this helps to stop the hair loss I been having. post-260556-14490297696459_thumb.jpg

Just wanted to update on my mom. Her surgery went well. It was a long long day. She will hopefully come home on Saturday. Thanks for all the good vibes and well wishes.

I went clothes shopping today and for the first time I enjoyed it!! Got myself some large size blouses, before were 2xl and I just didn't like seeing myself in the dressing room in those big mirrors.
