I've wondered that myself. When I hit 4 months my hair just came out like crazy when I showered. I will be 6 months on 11/1/15 and it's slowed down a bit but I'm still getting quite a bit when I shower. My hair has always been thick and I've needed it thinned when I get my haircut. Well the in past 2 months, I have not needed it thinned out. I take zinc and Biotin at night to help with hair and nails, I don't know if it necessarily helps with the hair loss but I've been taking them since I was allowed post surgery.

I have no shortage of hair...so I'm not in danger of balding or anything...but the shower drain could use a break (as could my husband who is the one fixing the drain!!).

I hear where you're coming from @Amylou. Not shortage of hair here either. It's actually nice that's it's not out of control!

i have thin hair and mine literally just started shedding 2 days ago and i'm only 10 weeks post off so 13 weeks from start of pre op diet, i know it's going to get bad as I've been through this time of hair-loss 5 times before :( (3 pregnancy and 2 bouts of long term liquid diet weight loss consequences)

Same here! I'm losing lots! But I have enough to spare...but I just started taking Biotin yesterday. Surgery was 7/15/15...I started noticing hair loss in sept
