I give myself a shot once a month. My doctor gives me a 3 month prescription for b12 and syringes. I can tell when it's time cause my energy levels drop a bit. I have to watch the calendar cause I'll take it too soon if I'm not careful.

I've just been taking the Bariatric Advantage chewable B12.

Seems to be working.

I was taking the sub-lingual but quickly outpaced it. There is a concern with getting this from foods and the myth that vegan/vegetarians aren't able to absorb enough from foods, but my level tripled while taking the supplement. I haven't needed it since 6mths post-op.

What is the advantage of taking B12?

It's for metabolism support.
