A body area that stops you dropping a size

Anyone else have one body area that is stopping you dropping a size??

My lower gut area is a pain!! My pants are all baggy on me on the butt and thighs especially, my tops are baggy on the shoulders, chest and back area but this band around my lower gut is stopping me going down a size or two grr!

Anyone else have a problem area which is preventing them getting better fit clothing for everywhere else?

  • @ - Just out of curiosity what are you doing for exercise? Personally I found yoga very helpful in creating tone and proportion. (Congrats on your 42 pound loss to date BTW).

  • I second that, exercise helps. I run and do yoga and stay pretty much in proportion. That Said my calves are pretty muscular so skinny jean and boots are hard! Other than that, once I got to goal

@@jess9395 great job, full, half or sprint?

I'm not near full or half ironman level! I don't even have a road bike, just my mountain bike. That's the next step... Shopping for one now!

This was a sprint--which I realize aren't standard length since each one I've done has been a different length! This was .75 mile swim, 15 mile bike and 5k run.

I'm a runner first so I always wish that part was longer, swimmer second and I don't know if my biking will ever be up to snuff for longer distance.

@@jess9395 - I like sprints and 5K's. The risk of injury is low, they are challenging and an upcoming race is always motivation, I have one Sunday and that's why I've been running more than usual.

I have the same issue. My stomach is larger than the rest of my body. But, it always has been. I know that it will continue to go down in size just like everything else. And as far as yoga, I say do it! I was always intimidated too, but I said screw it and went last week to my first yoga class and LOVED IT! I say do it. Don't let anything hold you back!
