Back home post op and feeling great. I had a great team and some wonderful nurses. So stoked to start this new chapter in my life.

Oh and best thing on my list? The noise cancelling headphones!

Good to see things moving along for everyone. :-)

Good luck jengabee - it will go great! Keep up your positive attitude and remember that your only job post op is to get walking and peeing! Can't wait to see your email from the other side!

I go in tomorrow, be there by 10am. Operation is at 11:30.

that was my surgery time too! It's going to be perfect because you will be waking up while it is still light out. Can't wait to see your post-op message too!

Words of encouragement coming right at you - my best advice get up and walk around your house it will help with the pain and to get things moving! You can do it - this first bit is the hardest!

Congratulations Brandy - new year, new you! 2016 is going to be awesome!

@@kversteeg - I have my surgery a week from today; December 28th! Nervous but eager to get it over with. Ie. Liquid diet and surgery. :)

Hello December-er's! (ha)

How is everyone doing? Some have had surgery, and some are on their pre-surgery diet.

I am super excited and ready to do this thing. People dealing with everything well? Would love to see more updates. :) So happy to have found BariatricPal, it has at least helped me a lot with the process I am going through. I have one week left until my big day!

I'm one week post surgery today. Things are going really well!

I've only lost 2 pounds in the last week; of course that doesn't count having to re-lose the 10 pounds of IV liquids they pumped into me at the hospital. I came home feeling SO bloated and was SHOCKED when I stepped on the scale! Haha

Feeling great (still sore), my incisions look good, I've been able to tolerate any liquid I tried...just trying not to get too bored with this liquid phase. Trying to keep some variety.

I'm moving to stage 2 on Christmas where I'll treat myself to a good puree Soup and my chocolate Protein powder mixed with plain Greek yogurt for a great protein punch! Haha
