My Journey

I am 28 years old and I have suffered from obesity since I was 10 years old. I have been on diets since I was 15 years old. I have tried serval weight loss pills, and several food diet including weight watchers, the Atkins diet, and Nutrisystem. I have high cholesterol, high blood pressure, thyroid problems, and fatty liver. My insurance approved my life changing surgery. I'm having the bypass done in 3 weeks. It's going to be a bumping road.

Congratulations to you! You're taking a huge step toward a healthier you, and the fact that you acknowledge there will be bumps in the road is actually a good thing. These forums were (and still are) a great source of information, experiences and support for me- I hope it's the same for you. Best of luck to you!
