Period Pain Relief

Hi newby here, sorry if this has been asked before but I searched and couldnt find a response.

My TOM is due the week post-surgery. At the moment I have to take painkillers every 2-4 hrs for the first 3-4 days of my period (it is that bad!)

Now, obviously I cannot take tablets the first few weeks - and most painkillers need to be taken whole not squished.

How do you ladies deal?

I am UK based BTW.

Thanks....4 weeks to surgery!

You can take soluble paracetamol. I stocked up on some from my GP before surgery and the hospital gave me them as I couldn't have morphine for the first 2 days. When I left hospital they sent me home with two boxes just remember to let the bubbles settle before drinking it. They work !!

BTW Welcome to the forums... There are a few UK people here and they are all lovely and very willing to help and support :D

Another thing to remember is that your period might be late due to your body recovering from surgery!
