Hommony

Would it be ok to eat hommony. Am 7 week post op the sleeve. I got invited to a girls get together at my cousins house and she is cooking Posole. For those who don't know what posole is is like a soup it can be made out of pork or chicken with hommony.

Thanks just wanted to make sure it wasn't a good idea to have some.

I wouldn't eat too much of it as it is probably very hard to digest.

Hominy is similar to corn, isn't it? Corn irritates my sleeve horribly. I still get stomach aches 1.5 + out. Only other thing that does that is rice (and carbonation).

So be careful!
