I was severely fatigued the first several weeks after my sleeve. There wasn't really a lot I *could* do about it, other than get a lot of rest after work. Things really turned around for my once I was

  • I was very fatigued for a little over a month after surgery. It gets better. Make sure and take your supplements and drink lots of water.

  • I'm 3 weeks out as well, my surgery was on the 8th. I'm still having some problems with fatigue but I think it's slowly getting better.

@@Licia how tall are you? I had my 6 week check up yesterday and recovery has been great except I am tired all the time. Im 5'10 and my doctor asked how many calories I was eating. I told her 700-800 and she said no wonder you're tired, you're not eating enough! She said with my height I should be eating around 1200 calories a day. Scary but I'm gonna try it and see what happens. I haven't lost anything the last week so it can't hurt.

I was so tired the first 4 weeks ... like other people said .. taking a shower ... WOW ... I had to nap afterward! And they tell you to walk walk walk .... I wanted to cry everytime ... it was such an effort just to hold my head up .... I just wasn't taking in enough "fuel" to keep me going ... and I wasn't drinking enough either ... so make sure you SIP SIP SIP ... SO IMPORTANT !!!

After the 3rd week ... I came back to work ... I work full time as an office manager ... and coming back to work was the best thing for me ... it really made me push through it and focus on other things rather than how crappy I was feeling .... and now ... 6 weeks out ... I'm good as new !

Be patient ... energy will come ... we're all testament to that ! :)

As everyone else says, just give it time. :)

@ - Im 5'6" and am eating consistently around 800-850 and occasionally 900-1000. I think when I upped my calories to the 800+ range it helped me to lose better but I have not seen much improvement in energy.
