Eggs, Glorious Eggs......Oh, how I've missed you!

Today is my first day of soft foods.

My post surgery plan included 10 days of Clear liquids, and 10 more of full liquids, and now soft foods! Yay! I was able to eat (very slowly) two eggs. It's like heaven after three weeks of nothing but drinking my day away. :o)

Last night was my high school reunion of 35 years. And today starts the next phase of my new life.

I've never enjoyed two eggs more. LOL

What was/will be your first "chewable" thing?

A scrambled egg with a sprinkle of shredded cheese was my first "real" food, too. And it was so effing good! Of course, almost two weeks later, I'm getting really sick of scrambled eggs for Breakfast

I just fried mine with a little bit of spray margarine. They were delicious!

My surgery is tomorrow but I've already pinned 11 different ways to make eggs Lolz

I had a one egg "omelet". One egg with a pinch of 2% cheese and a tbsp. of chopped deli turkey. Could only eat half but it was amazing!

Scrambled with cheese here too! Love eggs anyway they are prepared.

I am still pre-op, but my list says that I can have soft boiled and poached, but not scrambled eggs when I get to that stage. :(
