Sugar Free problems?

Hi All

I am on day 5 post op and with such a limited liquid diet was wondering if anyone else has found something besides SF items. SF gives me diarrhea so I'm limiting my consumption. I might just be bored of liquid from pre to post op. Thoughts?

After surgery everything is in transition. There is the transition from full liquids to pureed foods to solids; the transition in allowed meal volume; and the transition to allowed food categories. Each transition opens up new opportunities. So experiment.

In Indiana they have a saying. If you don't like the weather, wait 10 minutes. It is sort of like that with food after surgery.

I documented the approach I used after surgery in the following article. I hope it is of help.

You be be having a rare side effect like when people take Benedryl and become hyper? Sugar is more likely to cause diarrhea than sugar free stuff, my tastebuds change everyday, so Urey to keep a variety of drinks I can have, water, tea, sports drinks and a variety of flavor drops, I'm not into the jellos or Popsicles as much and so far my only problem has been believe it or not my coffee, I had to go to decaf, and it is a big thing for me since I loved my regular coffee with sugar and cream, and I would drink 5-6 cups in the morning, now it's 1/2 a cup of decaf with sweetener and dry creamer.........SMH
