I don't quite understand the difference. Could someone give me examples? I start purée tomorrow and soft food next week. Thanks!

so basically puree is just that...blended food to a puree...or things like...apple sauce, split pea soup, etc. soft food would be like...soft scrambled eggs, cooked oatmeal maybe...food thats not so mushy, but isnt that solid either. its the in between...the transition to solids. they shouldve given you a list of recommended foods. you can also try google and youtube. it helped me a lot, along with this forum. good luck....

I've noticed these are different stages for some. Per my post op schedule.... they are the same stage for me.
