I am currently scheduled with Dr. Almanza in Tijuana. I've read that Bariatric Pal has cut ties with him. Can somebody tell my more?

I don't want to scare you but this is what I read

@@ag204195 I recommend doing research on any surgeon you plan to use.

@@ag204195 I think I'd find a new surgeon.

I saw this whole investigation right when I booked with Dr. Ortiz and let them know, they had not heard about it but thanked me for telling them. We all know that no matter where there is good and bad, from what I understand he does too many surgeries a day like 9-15 which is crazy.

@@Pejela I read about that surgeon a couple of weeks ago. I feel bad for the patients. I've never read anything negative about the OCC or their staff. They are always there to help pre or post surgery.

Yes they have been really awesome and helpful so far, just answer my questions and concerns! I'm on Day 3 of liquid and feeling a little better fatigued but better. I'm so happy to have this in my near future can't wait to hike without my feet killing me with ing steps of the hike!

@@Pejela Yeah, the liquid diet is challenging. You should feel better with time.

Google him and you will see why, many complications and death

I have spoken with Weight loss agents, I recommend you call and speak with them. There are no deaths. There are a few past disgruntled employees spreading vicious rumours. My friend had surgery with Dr Almanza, and is Doing amazing. I am scheduled on August 31 with him also. My friend is still in contact with several of the people that had surgery the same day she did and they are all, doing well. I am going to leave this site, as I feel they want to promote their own dr's and it's not really about patients talking to patients. Facts are being misconstrued. Call weight loss agents and talk about your concerns! Best of luck!

I am also going to the popular Dr A Oritz for August 5 th . So far so good on the pre op diet. I hit their goal today . So I should lose a tiny bit more by then. I will be going solo and am booked to stay at the Marriet from aug 4 to 10 ( staying one extra day due to flights) so if anyone else wants to meet up, feel free to PM me

@@sunshine72 I used Dr almanza and while I'm ok the girl who had surgery a week before me ended up with a leak and has been in and out of the hospital since June and it's has not been a fun process for her had I known about all these complications and how many surgeries he does in one day I would've chosen a different doctor
