Heartburn during 2-week Pre-op Diet

I've completed my 1st week of pre-op dieting. I'm down 11 lbs. I have one more week to go. Surgey is scheduled for 6/15. I'm experiencing lot heartburn and chest pressure with everything I eat or drink-even water. Can anyone relate or provide any insight? My pre-op appt with the surgeon is 6/10.

I have no idea why the pre-op diet would cause heartburn or chest pressure, especially with only Water. You should see your regular doctor. This is not a normal side-effect.

I will. Thanks!

It's looking more like an intolerance to lactose. I've switch to clear protein and I feel better. I do have anxiety so I know that doesn't help.
