Quinoa

Has anyone tried quinoa post surgery? If so what was your experience. I love quinoa and now I have found Pasta made fro quinoa and I also use cooked quinoa as substitute for bread crumbs in recipes. Does it digest well after the sleeve?

My sleeve hates pretty much everything but it doesn't always mind quinoa. My experience is that initially, eat less than you think you can. Much as quinoa is supposed to be mostly expanded once its cooked, I swear it hits my stomach and it expands even more, so if I ate more than a few spoons I feel very full and sick. It is good for you though, so if your stomach tolerates it, enjoy!

Quinoa was very hard for me to digest. Too bad as it is so good for me.

I found edamame Pasta which is tolerable in very small doses. Most pasta does not agree with me.

Oh the changes we make to keep our hard won battles with weight!!
