Baby fever?

Anyone else feel like vsg made you super baby crazy? I know I've had the desire to have another baby(my son is 4) but wow, since losing 50+ lbs since my surgery 2 months ago, I'm really feeling that pregnancy bug, lol. Just wanted to see if any of you guys are feeling that too? I know you're supposed to wait and all, and I'm planning to...but my ovaries are telling a different story, lol.

Well, no, at 50 I'd have to shoot myself, but I wouldn't mind a grand baby. :> But it better come from the 28 year old and not the 16 year old.

Sigh! Between that, spending all weekend with a gaggle of 6 year old girls, and my squishy new godson...yeah. I only have one ovary left and it's letting me know I need to get moving, lol. Now

  • We started trying at 5 months post op and the next month I was pregnant. At that point I had lost 110lbs! I've been lucky so far with no issues and baby is growing right on schedule. Good luck to you

It definitely has me. Sadly I'm nowhere near far enough out so I plan on waiting. I do plan on trying as soon as I can safely though lol :)

Yes me and my love are currently trying..... Not anywhere near docs suggested wait time but I'm 20 away from my goal of 165 and I'm 5 months out. My eating and drinking is under control. I'm excited!

I am 4 months post op and want to start trying as well. It was the whole reason for having the surgery. Do yall know anyone who has gotten preggo that early and do well?

Nice.... Hopefully this will be the month for me.... I had my nexplanon taken out on April 24th and I believe my cycle are regulated now :-)

We got pregnant 5 months post op accidently, but I miscarried right away. Doc have the ok to try again right away since I'd had no complications since surgury, and my doc knew I had the surgury to lose weight to help get pregnant. Got pregnant again 7 months post op and I'm now half way through my pregnancy with a healthy, growing, boy! I have wanted this for soooo long! I have gained 7lbs back since getting pregnant. Doc wants me to gain a total of 15lbs.

Definitely have the fever....we got the surgery because of difficulty getting pregnant. I'm 9 weeks out and 70 pounds down. Hoping to hold off until 6 months. Anyone try earlier than advised?

I was told we aren't supposed to try for at least 18 months which is very discouraging ????

Yea very discouraging....

Hi, I had my sleeve done Jan 30, 2014 and now I am pregnant. I was 20 pounds away from my goal weight before I found out I was pregnant . I was gaining weight at first but now I have been losing weight. It wasn't planned but I am very excited. I wish I could say everything is going ok but I can't. I am 3 months pregnant. At the very beginning I had severe nausea and when I eat I just feel disgusted. I have been very bloated with no energy at all. Now the nausea did eventually went to regular nausea but I still have the feeling bad when I eat and bloating. I now have a new symptom of short of breathe but it has been getting worse. I just hope all symptoms go away after this first trimester. Has anyone else pregnant and have issues?
